The idea was simple yet profound: What if we could channel our collective resources into a structured force for good through charitable gifts? It was a 'Great Gift' in its own right, envisioning a more empowered and connected community. Armed with this idea, the founder transformed the vision into reality by reaching out to friends, convening a small meeting, and pitching her concept to us. By the end of the meeting, everyone left with a shared conviction. Since that pivotal gathering, Great Gifts CBO has evolved from a passionate conversation into a registered Community-based Organization. We carry the energy from that first meeting into everything we do; valuing every voice, honoring our humble beginnings, and remembering that the greatest gift we can offer is the power of a shared goal.
